Lane control signals are a common form of traffic light used to control traffic on a multi-way route, highway or toll road.

Sign of speed:

A speed signal is a special traffic light, variable traffic signal or auto-message signal that provides the driver the desired speed to reach the next traffic light in its green period and prevent a halt due to the intersection while the signals are red.

Working Process:

Traffic lights obey a global color code which alternates the right of way for users with a sequence of highlighting lamps or LEDs of 3 different colors:

Green lighting:

Requires traffic to continue in the path marked, provided it is appropriate to do so, and there is space on the other side of the intersection. Traditionally, the green light was green in color, while new white LED lights are turquoise.

Red Lighting:

Restricts any kind of traffic from continuing. A flashing red signal requires traffic to stop and then continue when secure (equivalent to a stop sign).

Amber light (also referred to as ‘yellow light’):

Cautions that the light is going to turn to red, with some jurisdictions forcing drivers to brake if it is safe to do so, and some authorizing vehicles to pass the intersection if it is safe to do so.
